WIMnet NSW Mentoring Program 2019
The WIMnet NSW Mentoring Program is back for its fifth year in 2019! Tailored for women working in the resources sector, previous participants have come from mining, oil and gas and mining services companies across the full range of disciplines from engineering and geology through to accounting, human resources and environmental roles.
The program follows a structured process that includes a comprehensive matching framework conducted by a Registered Psychologist. Successful applicants are provided with comprehensive training, invitations to three program networking events, access to industry representatives and the opportunity to learn and receive career guidance from a mentor that is fully invested in their career and development. Mentees are encouraged to conduct 5 -7 sessions with their mentor over the five-month duration of the Program.
Only 30 mentee places are available, and those selected will be expertly matched with a female or male leader from the resources industry. Mentees from all areas of the resources sector in NSW are welcome to apply.
The WIMnet NSW Mentoring Program will run from May to October 2019. More information and mentee application forms are available from the AusIMM website on
