Wellbeing@Work Index - How can you get involved?

What is the Wellbeing@Work Index?

The Wellbeing@Work Index is an online survey tool that has been designed to help Australian companies understand, measure and improve the wellbeing of their people and workplaces. It incorporates insights from Medibank's health expertise, coupled with research from Deloitte Access Economics and Deloitte's Human Capital consulting capabilities. This combination allows organisations who have their employees complete the survey to measure wellbeing from the perspective of both employees and the businesses they work for.

Employee wellbeing issues cost Australian companies over $44 billion a year. The Wellbeing@Work Index equips you to focus wellbeing activities within your business. The results are presented in a detailed and measurable dashboard, which allows you to direct your wellbeing budget according to identified areas of priority.

Why is employee wellbeing important for your business?

Businesses are facing unprecedented challenges to recruit and retain the best talent, maximise productivity and strengthen corporate culture. As a result, employee wellbeing has shifted from a buzz-word to a business imperative.

Empirical research shows that workplaces with effective wellbeing programs:

  • Have employees that are nearly 3 times more productive1
  • Are almost 80% more likely to record significantly higher financial performance than competitors who don’t2
  • Receive 100% more job applications3
  • Record 2.5 times greater revenue growth4

To celebrate the launch of the Wellbeing@Work Index via Solutions by Deloitte, we are offering Austmine members the index as a freemium for a limited-time.
