New partnership showcases better IoT collaboration at IMARC
This year at IMARC (International Mining and Resources Conference), market leaders in their individual fields, Snowden, Microsoft and Downer, will be showcasing their unique industry collaboration for the first time.
Bringing together unmatched experience in the mining and technology sectors, this pragmatic collaboration will demonstrate innovative technology solutions to the mining industry, based on projects delivered within real mining operations.
IMARC 2017 is being held from October 30th to November 2nd at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. This year, the conference looks at creating value through collaboration, where global mining leaders can connect with technology, finance and the future.
The Snowden, Microsoft and Downer collaboration will be located at Stand D15. On hand will be a number of collaboration specialists available to demonstrate the technology solutions that have assisted mining companies in the areas of:
- Asset maintenance, performance management and optimisation
- Production reporting, reconciliation and schedule optimisation
- Enhancing safety compliance and performance
Snowden’s CEO, John Hearne says, “IMARC is a great way for us to demonstrate how collaboration and technology can provide real solutions to the mining industry. It also gives us an opportunity to demonstrate Neuroverse, our cloud based data management platform that has been specifically designed to provide analytics, IoT and application development for the industry.”
Microsoft’s ISV lead, Anita Sood agrees, saying, “By partnering with companies such as Snowden and Downer we are able to see the true capabilities of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform come to life. Neuroverse takes advantage of Azure’s hyper scale and secure platform to deliver a trusted, scalable solution to the mining industry. We are witnessing firsthand this platform empower mining workers across the board.”
Also at IMARC 2017, Snowden’s Project Director IOT, Luke Davey, will be speaking on the power of collaboration in his talk ‘Big Strategy, Small Projects – Partnering for Innovation Execution’. Snowden CEO, John Hearne, will be part of the panel discussion at Excellence in Mining, where they will discuss going global and ensuring that the Australian Mining and METS industry makes the most of its opportunities.
