CRC-SI, MRIWA & METS Ignited joint workshop on Spatial in Minerals
The CRC for Spatial Information with Minerals Research Institute of Western Australia and METSIgnited, invite you to participate in a workshop exploring how spatial frameworks, applied across data supply chains may help unlock new operational insights and efficiencies. We know the resources sector is data rich, with a range of technology and sensors now providing more insights into mine operations than ever before; yet challenges still exist on how to gain access to the right information to support critical business operations.
This workshop will provide attendees with an opportunity to reflect on mining and the role spatial data science may play to ignite innovation in mining and METS businesses.
The workshop will cover:
- How spatial technologies are being applied to help link disparate data silos and to map the relationship between location, people, assets and activities.
- A case study within the Australian Livestock Spatial Innovation Program (ALSIP): demonstrating where spatial is now providing new insights across a highly variable value chain sector.
- New advances in spatial supporting big data, sensors, semantics and data insights.
The workshop is aimed at senior managers within the mining sector seeking greater insights into the role data across a mining value chain can add value through smarter linkages, insights and analytics.
Seats are limited to this workshop so please register through the event link as soon as possible: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/stimulating-innovation-and-efficiency-in-mining-through-spatial-tickets-39539302117
